Current Status of the F-14

The F-14D kit progess has come to the point to where the plugs are constructed and surface detailing has begun. The plugs are being detailed with "lithography" plate, which is a very thin sheet aluminum. It was chosen due to its ease of use and its ability to mimick an all aluminum aircraft surface perfectly. The Fuselage is essenially 90% Complete with just a few last panels to taken care of after the canopy and windscreen molds are built. The tail section is also 90% complete and will be molded at the same time as the windscreen and canopy. Detailing of the wings has begun as well and has reached a point where larger panels must be sourced to construct the large 1 piece central wing skins.

Pre-Orders are now being taken. NO money is required to "get on the list" at this point. Once all the molds have been completed and the production is ready to begin we will begin going down the list and providing finalized kit pricing and the required deposit needed for your spot in line to be held.
